Our Client is a West London Local Authority who is looking for a Projects Surveyor with experience in Building Control.

Our Client is a West London Local Authority who is
looking for a Projects Surveyor with experience in Building Control to
inspect sites and evaluate the proposals and suitability of the building
for structural alterations.

At the time of the visit, you will make decisions and issue instructions
to the architect or builder on the methods of achieving compliance with
Building Regulations, so that a satisfactory completion certificate may be
issued further to a satisfactory final inspection.

You will also examine highly complex plan submissions, approve or
conditionally approve or reject plans, after consulting with appropriate
internal or external bodies and where appropriate after consulting the
Team Leader or Surveying Manager.

Lots of liaison with relevant parties such as the fire authority, town
planning, licensing etc will be needed to be successful at this role so
good communication skills are essential.

This is a 3-month contract with a view to extension. Circa £25ph Ltd.
