We need a good Engineer who can set out accurately following the information available from the drawings, ensuring that the fixers and chippies are fully informed of the setting out method. This is a long term freelance position for a competent Engineer who wants a few months work on 5.5 day weeks.
You will need to be able to read setting out and rebar drawings, keep a daily diary, take off and call off materials from the drawings and schedules. It goes without saying that you will be fully conversant with modern survey equipment and construction techniques.
Ideally CSCS certified, you will have a formal construction qualification, have clear communication skills and a minimum of 3 years UK experience. Only candidates who are legally permitted to live and work in the UK will be considered.
