Job Description
We are looking for a Social Worker in the Youth Offending team in North London.
The position will involce: acting as a Missing Person liaison officer between the Youth Offending Service, police and social services, this will include visiting the police station and the young person’s residence to identify, assess and work with vulnerable young people who fall within an agreed criteria for additional support.
To contribute to the development and the promotion of the group’s service providers both internally within the group and externally with other groups, agencies, individuals and voluntary sector.
To work with runaways for up to 6 months in order identify appropriate agencies which will serve the purposes identified by the debrief and follow-up sessions conducted within the team
