This is a scheme that will run for 10-12 months and freelance Engineers will be used for periods of 4 - 6 months to supplement the clients own Engineers. There will be a mixture of RC and steel frame structures, so experience in both would be advantageous. Engineers who are capable of working with the Project Manager to provide all the site setting out information accurately and are able to stay ahead of the workforce are required. Standard QA procedures will be in place and your duties will include maintaining the site diary, raising RFI’s, cubing up for concrete, supervising pours and generally ensuring that the site work proceeds. This is a role that requires a good level of communication and the ability to work with the Site Foremen to plan ahead. Good rates of pay with hours to match are available. You should ideally be a CSCS card holder. Only candidates who are legally entitled to live and work in the UK will be considered.
