You will be expected to be able to work in both a conventional contractor’s role on site or alternatively in the MTC areas as the workload varies.
Minimum of 2 years site experience since graduating required to be capable of fulfilling this role, ideally with practical GPS experience you will have a recognised construction related qualification. Preferably with a CSCS card, NRSWA qualified, and optionally a First Aid certificate.Experience with either a main contractor or a sub-contractor will be equally relevant, so long as you have a good understanding of the civils elements of construction. A good working knowledge of CAD is advantageous as the drawings are all supplied in electronic format. A more senior candidate may suit so long as you possess the minimum skills listed. Working a 5.5 day working week, with site hours of 0730 to 1800 you should have your own transport. Whilst this is offered as a contract position initially ther may be a later option of a permanent post. Only candidates who are legally permitted to live and work in the UK will be considered.
