Job Description

We have an urgent requirement for a Site Engineer conversant with RC and steel, on a large civil project based just West of London. You must have previous experience with setting out for formwork and steel, and possess a working knowledge of concrete. Re-bar is a core focus and the successful candidate must demonstrate a proven ability to: read plans; resolve on-site issues; liaise with: suppliers, senior engineer, etc.; coordinate deliveries; call-off materials; quality control and inspection of works i.e. cover. You should also hold a good understanding of reading and interpreting Steel Drawings.

Must possess strong surveying and supervision skills, have knowledge on QA with respect to Steel and formwork. Previous UK experience is preferred, but not essential

You will be working as part of a site team and be responsible for all setting out on site and managing subcontractors.

Pay: £18.50 - £20.00 p/h (Limited Company Rate)
