Job Description
Your role will be co-ordinate the information on budgets, expenditure and invoicing on contracts using sub-contractors carrying out a range of upgrading schemes on Housing Association and Local Authority properties as they are upgraded in line with the Government’s plans to improve the housing stock throughout the UK. This will involve planned maintenance and improvement packages. As a Quantity Surveyor you will have a relevant formal qualification. Ideally you will have a minimum of 2 to 4 years experience working in a similar role for a contractor. This role will involve a large amount of data entry, so someone who is organised and consistent should suit. You will need to be a clear communicator, proficient at inputting, programming and producing spreadsheets, IT literate, ideally a car driver, aware of the implications of Health & Safety legislation in the workplace and must be permitted to live and work in the UK. This is a new post and will offer the successful candidate a broad level of responsibility. A £25,000 salary plus allowances make this a rewarding post for someone seeking to move to a growing sector in a successful company.
