Job Description

RIG Social Care is currently recruiting for a leading local authority in the Merseyside area. Our client is looking for Qualified Social Workers to work as a YOT Officer (unqualified Social Workers may apply but need at least 6 months experience). Experience of working with young people is essential, and prior experience within youth justice would be an advantage.

The main duties will include:
Acting as a key worker to a number of children and families
Devise, monitor and review individual care plans to the standards identified in the service specification
Liaise with agencies/parents/professional staff so that appropriate resources may be identified and mobilised for the benefit of children and their families
