A Local Authority based in the north of London seeks a Duty Planner to join their busy Development Control team.

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 1 year planning experience to take on a client facing role at the front end of the Council Planning system. You will need to be able to provide planning advice both over the phone and directly with the visiting public/clients. The role entails providing pre-application advice and you must be able to analyise applications and advise where changes need to be made and how they are to be carried out.

Ideal applicants will have managed their own caseload of development applications/ resource consents & possess a Town Planning or related degree.
