With at least ten years’ experience in Construction Site and Contractor Management, you could be the Construction Manager our client is urgently seeking to ensure its ambitious schedule of regeneration on the London Underground stays on track. You MUST have considerable experience of managing contractors and contractors’ operatives; track experience is secondary to site experience. Rail experience would be desirable but is not essential. Please not that all this will be all NIGHT work. The position’s responsibilities entail maintaining the continued safe operation of the Railway and the safety of passengers, staff and public during construction of new or altered client assets, whilst ensuring that client assets are constructed to specified technical and quality requirements. You will manage multidisciplinary teams to meet given project objectives and facilitate achievement of company’s business objectives, coordinate construction contractors’ activities and interfaces across the delivery group and assume overall construction responsibility to deliver projects on behalf of the Senior Project Manager.
