My client, a larger private healthcare organisation is currently looking to recruit a Clinical Director; the successful applicant will be reporting to the Hospital Director, you will be responsible for the clinical standards of care delivered at this established 46 bed hospital. There is a 30 bed acute ward and a 14 bed intensive care unit, each with their own Ward Manager. There is also a 15 bed rehabilitation unit nearby which is managed by a clinical manager, who will need supervision and guidance.

Applicants will need to be RMN qualified with senior management level experience. This should include staffing, recruitment, retention issues, training and most importantly implementation of National Minimum Standards. You will also be expected to apply for Registered Manager status with the Healthcare Commission and take the appropriate responsibility associated with that.
