Job Description
You should have a degree in Civil Engineering and have between 3 and 8 years experience working in the water industry. Ideally, you will be familiar with undertaking outline and detailed design. This could be across a number of areas but could include such projects as trunk mains, pressure management programmes, leakage, pumping stations, sewer rehabilitation and treatment works.
Some previous project management experience would be a distinct advantage, as you will be responsible for delivery of packages of work, and for working closely with contractors and subcontractors on the projects. You should be a confident communicator, and be comfortable working without close supervision.
Experience working in a regulatory environment would be useful, but this does not need to be from the UK. My Client is looking for someone on an on-going contract basis to support their busy workload. Immediate start possible.
