Our Client has a challenging opportunity for a high-calibre research professional who is looking to broaden their scientific and managerial responsibilities.
As a Section Head within the Department of Molecular Pharmacology, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your skills in a dynamic research environment.

Reporting to the Executive Director, Molecular Pharmacology, you will lead a section of up to 25 highly motivated in vitro pharmacologists and electrophysiologists and will work closely with scientists from other disciplines.
You will have responsibility for staff development and provide leadership in the identification and rapid progression of NCE's from concept to early clinical development.

Educated to PhD level in a relevant discipline (Pharmacology, physiology or biochemistry), the sucessful applicant will bring to the role a broad knowledge of drug discovery, which will ideally include a period in neuroscience research.
An enthusiastic and motivational leader, you will have already established your ability to influence key decision makers and will also have the desire to excel in this high-profile role.
