Our client is currently employing Engineers on ground preparation, earthworks, drainage and general infrastructure initially and needs an additional Engineer to work on the drainage works within the structures that are just starting. The work will involve some of the above operations but will focus on drainage using a dual grade laser and Leica equipment so you must be familiar with both.

We need an Engineer / Land Surveyor who is conversant with modern survey equipment, who is prepared to not only set out the pegs for line and level but to also ensure that the men on site are aware of their relevance. You must be able to keep site diaries, recording daily activities and occurrences, raise RFI’s as relevant, working with the Project Manager, who is Engineer trained, to ensure safe working practices are adhered to and generally aim for a successful project.

This is potentially a very long run of freelance work through to Xmas.

All applicants must have a current CSCS card and be legally entitled to live and work in the UK. Car driver advantageous as the site is a good walk from the nearest station, though a lift may be available.
