Job Description
Due to expansion in our client's Civil Engineering team, they are seeking to appoint an Assistant Civil Engineer in their Peterborough Office.
The successful candidate will join an existing team of engineers, providing support on a range of water and wastewater projects across the central/east of England and supporting other offices throughout the country. You will be a major player in the future development of our client’s capability in the central/east of the UK.
The ideal candidate for this role will be a Graduate Engineer with a minimum of 2 years experience in water and civil engineering. The successful applicant will be client focussed with a clear understanding of engineering design issues and contract documentation preparation.
The role will include responsibility for:
- Assisting in the design and construction of civil engineering projects including liaison with the client and financial performance.
- Assist in the preparation of conceptual designs, costs, specifications and contract documents.
- Assist in the preparation of bids for potential projects.
