Client Profile
A full service yachting centre. Offering berthing for yachts up to 40 meters, repair facilities and marine chandlery. All located within a prestigious Golf & Yacht Club.

Job Specification

My client requires a Marina Operations Manager for an ISO Certified Marina that has capabilities of berthing 121 vessels up to a maximum of 105 feet, with a Chandlery, a Marina Workshop that undertakes canvas, aluminum fabrication work & a full range of mechanical, electrical & hull work onshore or afloat.

Responsibilities include managing the operations in a target driven environment, promoting commercial growth development & implementing key marketing strategies liaising with team members, both external & internal ensuring department & company’s business objectives are met in line with our established quality standards.

Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position with a proven track record & suitable academic qualifications including a boat Captain’s licence or the ability to handle vessels upto 80 feet within a confined Marina environment a must.

A good team player with hands on knowledge of all aspects of Marine Safety laws, federal regulations & environmental laws with the ability to manage a multicultural workforce & to be a part of the Club’s senior Management.

Person Specification

· Must hold a Captain’s Licence
· Ability to handle vessels upto 80 feet
· Minimum of 5 years experience
· Excellent people mangment skills
· Knowledge of all aspects of marine safetly laws, federal regualtions and enviornmental laws
· Experience of managing a multicultural workforce
· Technical knowledge of vessels
· The ability to deal with High Profile customers
