My client is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer at Chartered or Incorporated status to work on a high-profile project due to begin.

My client is a multi-disciplinary consultancy whose services cover buildings, environmental & infrastructure and are at the leading edge of design. The initial project is an office-based role in London, moving to an office closer to the site (in London still) when deadlines are nearing.

This post requires a candidate who must have:

At least 8 years experience in the Electrical Supply Industry
Knowledge of regulatory framework, including embedded generation, "private wires" and contestable/non-contestable works
Experience in planning and design of electrical distribution infrastructure up to 132kV
Knowledge and/or experience of multi utility delivery strategies
Knowledge and/or experience of Energy Supply Companies (ESCo's)
Able to work on own initiative
Good communication skills, both written and oral

The position will require you to act as Job Leader and in some circumstances Project Leader. You must be able to work independently and have the ability to mange single or multi-disciplinary projects. Communication is key with senior staff, concerning service/design decisions, and directly with clients, while managing the workloads of Project Discipline Engineers and Technicians.
In addition, preparing technical and financial proposals for new work as well as monitoring the financial performance of jobs is required.

Salary/package are entirely negotiable depending of course, on experience and ability.
