Job Description
Enforcement officers are needed for a well-regarded London borough. The successful applicant should have experience in being able to prepare formal written statements and in resisting appeals against planning decisions taken by the Council, as well as justifying and supporting those decisions. With the minimum supervision of the Planning Enforcement Manager, the role will consist of investigating complaints in respect of breaches, and alleged breaches, of planning legislation before recommending action and negotiating acceptable outcomes. This is an exciting and varied opportunity to work on interesting and complex cases within a friendly and progressive team.
