Job Description
We have an opening for a Arboricultural Officer at a very leafy West London borough. Successful candidates will need to have knowledge of current UK legislation relating to arboriculture and sound understanding of planning law relating to trees.
You will be required to monitor compliance with tree protection orders, investigate breaches and assist in the progression of enforcement action as appropriate in order to ensure that trees are properly safeguarded in the borough.
You will Prepare statements and proof of evidence, and attend local enquiries, hearings and court proceedings as an expert witness on tree matters as necessary to achieve the boroughs policy for protection of trees.
