We are urgently looking for Civil Engineers experienced in detailed design and project management of water and wastewater treatment projects across the Greater London area and the south coast of England.

You should have a degree in Civil Engineering and have between 2 and 15 years industry experience. At least 50% of this should be in the water/wastewater sector and you should be familiar undertaking hydraulic design of pressure pipelines, gravity sewers and open channels; basic structural engineering design; pumping station design; water and wastewater treatment processes, soil mechanics and borehole logs and various construction methods. A good awareness of health & safety issues would also be beneficial.

For candidates with project management experience, my Client is looking for dynamic individuals to work closely with the project partners and to take full control for delivery of the design phase of the work, supervision of the construction of works on site, and elements of budgetary responsibility.

My Client is willing to appoint this person on a long term contract basis, so you know that you won't have to be looking for a role again in 6 months time. This will give you the flexibility to work as you chose, and perhaps enjoy a few trips around Europe, for a very competitive market rate! (depending on skills, experience and professional qualifications). This position will suit someone with a strong technical background looking for a challenge, and to make the most of their time in the UK!
