Site Managers x 3 for Civils & Groundworks Contracts. Engineering background and training in groundworks and related infrastructure disciplines.

With a head office in Hertfordshire you will be allocated a site from the current requirements in Reading, Romford or Park Royal. You will have full site responsibility for work on your project, so must be able to demonstrate managerial and technical skills I your current / previous posts. The company works in an area ranging from Essex in the east, through London with schemes in Docklands & The Isle of Dogs and across to Reading.

An Engineering background and an ability to problem solve would ideally equip you to develop this sector of the business, whilst a considerable knowledge in this market must be evident from your current or previous employment. Primarily working on major earthworks, commercial and residential sites you would be expected to cover a single large site or a couple of smaller ones at any one time, though these would be at different stages.

Projects vary from individual £1.5m - £4m private houses to phased 120 - 150 unit sites to large commercial warehouse projects and industrial parks. Ideally based north of the Thames your operating region would extend to cover jobs generally in a 50 mile radius of your home.

Salary in the £48 - £55,000 negotiable according to your experience plus a fully expensed vehicle. All candidates must be legally entitled to live and work in the UK to be considered. Ideally with a formal Engineering qualification or 7 years plus of practical experience, CSCS qualified, CITB Site Manager certified with a current First Aid certificate.
