Job Description

You must have worked on adopted roads and have good traffic management skills, there is an ongoing dialogue with local and statutory bodies, so you must have good communication skills. Engineer trained with a relevant tertiary level qualification you will be comfortable working in the field and on site.

Current Requirement. Civils orientated Site Manager, from an Engineering background, able to run work from £1.2 to £3.5m on roads & highways with the associated interface with Local Authorities, Service Providers and the general public. You will be expected to be fully responsible for the safe and profitable running of this town centre development. A build element of commercial and residential work is attached to the scheme and there will be a Site Agent who will oversee this work.

Enthusiasm and a genuine desire to progress your career with a growing company, embracing their forward looking approach to Health & Safety are required. A salary package of £48k plus production bonuses, a car and full company benefits package are offered. Preferably with a 5 day CITB Managers qualification, First Aid and CSCS certified.

Staff Welfare. Field staff participate in an ongoing programme of training to ensure that they have the necessary skills and all are equipped with CSCS as standard and other relevant training. Additionally the role of Safety Consultant is undertaken by an external consultancy, working to and closely monitored against their own rigorously high standards. Salary - Freelance or £45-50k + car, production bonuses and full benefits package
