With an expected turnover of £600m within the next 4 years this dynamic contractor put their unrivalled success down to their workforce. Having recently won four £multi-million tunnel projects they now require exceptional engineers to assist in the successful completion of these projects on time and within budget.
You will possess at least 4 years experience working in the UK or abroad on large scale tunnelling projects. Due to the unique 'spayed-concrete' system that is used full training will be provided for those without relevant experience. Your responsibilities will include supervision and management of labour and subcontractors, health and safety, site set-up, optimisation of site performance, maintaining construction quality and specification, compilation of working records, as-builds, plant and labour.
With a reputation for a low staff turnover rate, you can expect an open, coaching style culture. You will also have a PDP (Performance and Development Plan). The sites are 24/7 and shift allowance will be paid when relevant. Benefits include car / car allowance and contributory pension.
