Job Description

The drawings will all be issued in electronic format and you should have had previous experience in establishing primary and secondary controls and reporting on and verifying all aspects of the setting out.

You will have had a minimum of 3 years setting out in field conditions on large projects, preferably for a contractor, be able to read and understand architectural, construction and services drawings, have a good understanding of AutoCAD and ideally a CSCS certificate.

Clear communication skills, with the ability to pass on information to the labour force, a confident approach in dealing with the main contractor resolving drawing and information queries, a good work ethic that will lead to solving problems with your colleagues are all attributes of the Engineer / Land Surveyor we seek.

An opportunity to join a project with 16 – 18 weeks to run on a freelance / CIS basis or permanently with a competitive package with vehicle or allowance and a bonus scheme that is tailored to rewarding those involved with a financially successful project is offered.
