Quantity Surveyor, Groundworks & RC.

The prime requirement is for an energetic and positive Quantity Surveyor with initiative and drive to take some of the pressure and workload off the Managing Surveyor. The company are winning more and more work and we need a “stand alone “ Quantity Surveyor who would be based either at the Head Office near Hemel Hempstead or alternatively based on one of the major projects in East London.

The expertise comes from a team of highly motivated professional employees already involved.

The scope of operations is based primarily on new build residential schemes, both low rise and multi-storey RC frames, with the associated infrastructure of such projects, situated on and around the M25 to the north of London and down as far as the River Thames. Due to forward planning and a controlled expansion programme there is work secured with completion dates throughout the summer of 2006 and into early 2007.

Experience in these areas would be necessary:
• Concrete Basement and Concrete Frame Construction
• Roads and Sewer Construction
• Foundation Installation and Construction
• Large External Works Projects

An enthusiastic Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 3 - 5 years relevant site and contractor based experience, with an up to date understanding of commercial matters, pricing and measuring work, conversant with site Health & Safety requirements will fill the role. Fully IT literate with a current UK driving licence you will be a self-starter. If your experience falls outside this brief your application will still be considered.
