Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for an enforcement officer to join a Planning Service in an Essex Council.
You will be required to undertake a full range of enforcement casework (breaches of planning control) and this will include processing applications, appeals and all enforcement related duties.
This post requires investigative skills and applicants will therefore need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, the ability to deal tactfully but effectively with the public, and the ability to manage a busy workload. Previous experience and knowledge of planning legislation would be an advantage.
Applicants must have their own transport or be able to hire a car.
