Job Description

Experience & Knowledge:

Essential:
Knowledge and understanding of controlled areas and safety requirements in the MR environment
Able to demonstrate competency across a wide range of MR examination types
Current knowledge of modern imaging techniques and applied practice

Desirable:
Undertaken a minimum of 500 MR examinations over the last 12 months
Able to administer contrast agents or other prescribed drugs

Education / Qualifications:

Essential:
DCR(R), BSc or recognised equivalent qualification in diagnostic radiography.
Current HPC (Health Professions Council) registration.

Desirable:
Post Graduate Certificate in MR

Skills, Abilities & Attributes:

Essential:
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in English language, particularly with regard to medical terminology
Good organisational skills
Numerate

Desirable:
Knowledge & understanding of Control Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)
Knowledge & understanding of Manual Handling
Knowledge & understanding of Health and Safety issues in the workplace
