Job Description
We are looking for an experienced planning manager:
• To ensure that the Local Development Framework is an integral part of the Council’s Community Plan and that sustainable development objectives are incorporated into the development planning framework for the Borough
• To lead and manage the Policy and Environmental Planning Team (PEP) as an effective and efficient operation, in line with the current statutory framework, ensuring that the Council’s objectives relating to the activity are met within the resources available.
• To prepare, monitor and undertake reviews of the statutory development plan for the Borough (the Local Development Framework) in accordance with the approved Local Development Scheme, which meets Council priorities, objectives and statutory requirements.
