Graduate Geotechnical Consultant- York- Environmental. Our client is one of the UK’s leading companies with an incredible achievement record in what they do. As part of their expansion plans within their environmental sector they are now seeking Graduate Geotechnical Consultant with drive, passion and enthusiasm. If you are keen to build your career then this company is eager to help you attain a more senior role within the organisation by throwing the full might of their graduate scheme behind you. Our client has a number of projects on the go at the moment, many of which are contracts from the government. On occasions they do deliver solutions to private companies but the major part of our client’s activities is internal in house work. They are expecting big things this year and feel that this is the perfect time to add to their already sizable headcount.
The graduate they seek needs to show exceptional personable attributes, the company is very keen on candidates that are hard working, ambitious and confident, someone that can work well within a team environment as well as an individual, one that is looking to develop and build a long-term career within the geotechnics field. Many of their consultants join as a graduate and through time and comprehensive training develop into highly skilled and experienced individuals. Nearly all their senior’s and Principals are Chartered and you will be helped and actively encouraged to attain Chartered Status. The company actively promotes a fun working environment and has one of the lowest staff attrition rates in the industry. . To be considered for this position, you will need to hold a degree in Civil Engineering, Geology/Geotechnics or Mining Engineering. Good report writing skills are essential.
