Job Description
A central London borough is looking for an experienced and highly motivated town planner to come and join their conservation team.
You will give detailed advice on historic buildings and conservation aspects of planning applications for listed building consent, conservation area consent and planning permission involving conservation and design related matters.
Other duties include site visits, surveys, inspections and interviews as appropriate and the collection and analysis of information as directed.
You will represent the council at committee meetings and at public inquiries and other hearings as a technical witness and assist with the development of conservation and design policies and monitoring procedures as appropriate.
You will have at least 3-4 years relevant experience in a UK local authority.
