Job Description

A European multi strategy Real estate private investment firm which is owned and controlled by its management is looking for an experienced Property Investment Fund Accountant for a year contract.

The client requires the successful candidate to be:

• Recently qualified Chartered Accountant, or near completion
• 2-3 years experience – either public practice or commerce
• Excellent excel skills
• Exposure to property beneficial but not essential for the right candidate
• You need to be a good team player, be initiative and play close attention to detail.

The role will comprise of the following key functions:

Primary – Accounting Function: Reporting to the fund financial controller

 Responsibility for maintaining management accounts for allocated investment fund companies.
 Liaising with Luxembourg accountants on transaction treatment and company related issues. Reconciling management accounts (London) to Luxembourg accounts.
 Liaising with debt providers and property management service providers.
 Maintaining cash flows of investment funds.

Secondary – Acquisition Analyst: Reporting to acquisition analyst & Directors

 Undertake support function in the analysis of property acquisitions.
 Discounted cashflow analysis.
 Transaction completion support.
