Job Description

This leading Consultancy are looking to recruit a Planning Supervisor/Health and Safety Consultant to join our UK South Health & Safety Division, based in London. The role would include in the main responsibility for delivering planning supervision as a core service on a number of construction contracts in the UK.

We also require the candidate to have the ability to provide the following services to compliment their ability to act as planning supervisor and assist in taking the division forward in the field of general health and safety consultancy

Completion of Risk Assessment(s)
Delivering recognised training courses
Advising and Implementing Health and Safety Management Systems in accordance with HSG (65)
Health and Safety Audits
Health and Safety Site Inspections

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate must have construction or design consultancy experience, be NEBOSH Diploma (Part 1) and have a thorough knowledge of the application of the CDM Regulations 1994.

They will have a proven track record in providing practical and effective advice to a range of clients in a number of commercial and public sectors and developing new business opportunities.

They must have a demonstrable track record with minimum of 4 years experience in construction health and safety management, and membership of a relevant professional body essential.

As the majority of your time will be spent unsupervised they must be self sufficient, and resourceful, with good time management skills.
