Job Description

My Client has recently been awarded major new project work and is looking for staff to join their well-established team. You should ideally have a Degree in an Environmental, Geography or Engineering related subject and have some previous experience in network modelling. Specific packages are not as important as general experience, but may include Infoworks, Hydroworks and MOUSE on the wastewater modelling side, Synergee, H20net, WATNET or EPAnet on the clean water modelling side. My Client will also consider applications from candidates with broader hydraulic modeling experience using packages such as HEC-RAS, MOUSE or MIKE11. The skills are transferable to this position, and will give you an opportunity to diversify your project base.

The initial focus of the work is on the wastewater modelling side. Your experience may include Drainage Area Planning, option development and assessment and you will ideally have experience in model build, calibration, analysis and reporting. Working for a number of Clients, the workload will be varied and you may have the opportunity to get involved in both the clean and wastewater side of the business. In the longer term, the project load is likely to diversify in to broader network projects, and you will have responsibility for a number of different programmes at any time, allowing development of your project management skills.

A very competitive hourly rate is on offer for candidates with a suitable skill set - this company offers some of the best rates in the industry! The contract duration will be flexible, so you can earn money for the duration of your working holiday visa, or take some time out to travel around Europe!

The modelling team has just moved in to newly-refurbished offices a stones throw from the train station. You will be right in the centre of this small, English town so you get the best of both worlds between London, and experiencing a bit of the UK!!
