Established in the early 1970's, with a strong financial background they are a sound contractor, specialising both in new build and “cut and carve” in RC structures, moving on from the shell and core to turnkey projects to £28. The company has a turnover exceeding £70m and already has work secured for the forthcoming year that will see a considerable growth in turnover. The company has a reputation for pushing the jobs forward in their goal to increase their turnover.

This project is a £4,500,000 “cut and carve” with additional new works incorporating both RC frame and steel members. We intend to take on Site / Senior Site Engineer who has an engineering background and is capable of taking on some managerial responsibilities. This and other vacancies have arisen through winning additional projects in the £0.5m to £10.5m range, necessitating site based positions for varying contracts including: extensive groundworks packages with associated infrastructure works and RC structures. The suitable candidate will have setting out skills and be responsible for programming as well as QA / QC and the associated additional management duties.

The rewards on offer are based on £180 to £195 plus per shift, dependant on level of skills, with full benefits and significant bonuses in prospect based on meeting and delivery of targets. Long term prospects with this industrious company are considerable for above average candidates. You would need to be able to supervise Junior Engineers as well as doing some setting out yourself, though your main function would be assisting the Project Manager, resolving RFI’s, technical queries, assembling Method Statements and co-ordinating material call-offs.

The candidate we seek should have qualifications to Diploma or Degree status, CSCS carded, with a minimum of 2-3 years UK engineering experience. You must be legally permitted to live and work in the UK to be considered.
