Job Description

Overview of role and main responsibilities:

Provide support in the delivery of a wide range of radiographic and MR procedures on patients, including main Xray, CT and MRI

Ensure a high standard of customer care

Ensure compliance with the Healthcare Commission’s National Minimum Standards

Support Radiographers to deliver an efficient service to the customer

Given support to develop skills through continual professional development

Key Tasks:

Responsibility for patient care pre and post radiographic procedure

Provide the patient with clear information regarding the procedure

Carry out safety checks on imaging equipment and report any issues

Ensure the diagnostic centre is running smooth and patients are assessed in a timely manner

Responsible for maintaining stock levels of consumables

Qualifications and Experience:

Familiar with computer based data entry systems

Personality Profile:

Excellent communication skills

Ability to contribute to a quality customer service

Commitment to maximise achievement

Ability to create effective working relationships

Able to deal confidently with difficult situations

Honesty, integrity and adherence to customer confidentiality

Flexible to travel to locations within a region
