Job Description

A North West London Borough Council requires a Duty Town Planner to deliver timely and accurate advice on complex and multi-departmental planning schemes. You will be required to write up pre-application advice for minor residential development schemes (up to 10 residential units) and write advice on urban design aspects for residential development including conservation and listed buildings.

You will be required to have strong communication skills and understand links between various departments such as Conservation, Highways, Trees and Landscaping and Policy.

The right candidate will also be able to process minor planning applications, write committee reports residential and commercial development and write discharge of conditions reports.
