An understanding of the technical aspects of both these processes would be advantageous, then moving on to traditional ground-works, piling and pilecaps, drainage and ground-beams you will demonstrate your technical, contractual and commercial abilities.

Applicants with good Quantity Surveying skills and aptitudes with a broad construction background capable of organising the various sequences from initial enquiry through to final account are required. Previous experience with one of the recognised Groundworks or RC frame contractors would be preferred. These are roles that would be suitable for a Senior Quantity Surveyor wishing to take on their own projects to junior Quantity Surveyors keen to develop within the contractors side of the industry.

Our client is recognised as a successful groundworks and RC frame contractor working in the south of England. . You will be involved in groundworks, conventional RC frame structures with shuttering for all upstands and vertical elements and bespoke projects as they arise. You will need good communication skills, capable of producing spreadsheets and reconciling expenditure, be IT literate, able to liaise with the various statutory bodies involved with this work and above all represent our client in a professional manner.

This is an ongoing growth curve for our client who is seeking committed candidates for the roles. A 5 day week will operate. Ideally CSCS certified you should be a car driver.
