Job Description

Our client have become a well established construction company with an excellent reputation in the industry built on expertise, quality, innovation and professionalism.

You will have an Engineering Degree or tertiary level qualification in a Construction related discipline you will have at least 5 to 6 years relevant site experience in an Engineering capacity.

You must be fully conversant with modern construction techniques and equipment, and demonstrate a good level of written and oral communication. Working at a level where you have worked closely with a Project Manager and are keen to take on a more senior position, you must have worked for a minimum of 2 years in the UK either for a RC frame contractor or for a groundworks contractor who also works with RC or else for a practically orientated main contractor.

Programming for weekly and medium term, analyzing and resolving queries, reading and extrapolating information from drawings, day to day paperwork, RFI’s and general organization of the Engineering elements will all form part of your brief.

The Projects.
Either multiple blocks of RC frames to 5 or 7 floors, some stand alone, some as linked structures or multi storey to 22 floors. Traditional in situ construction methods will be used throughout. The projects run for 20 to 24 months and you will be involved from the initial groundworks through the RC phases to the cladding, hard landscaping and handover and thus will have an opportunity to either be involved for the frame only or else for the complete project.
