With a turnover exceeding £50m, operating from offices outside the M25, and covering a geographical area that includes London and the Home counties and M4 corridor, our client covers the full range of work from site investigations and ground remediation, demolition, civil engineering and groundworks to reinforced concrete structures.

Currently looking for an experienced Site / Setting Out Engineer with a minimum of 3 years relevant UK experience in Groundworks and RC structures, familiar with the latest surveying equipment, with a current driving licence able to cover work for the Western office as it grows from its current £8.5m turnover to £10 – 11m by 2007.

Within an area that extends from Watford in the north, towards Swindon, Reading and Oxford, along the M4 and down towards Basingstoke in the corridor to the south coast. Your location would determine the sites that you would be responsible for.

The Civil Engineering division has worked on some of the most high profile mixed use sites in the South East. The business specialises in highways, infrastructure works and groundworks. Typical contract values range from £0.5m to £5m.

Providing the client with full engineering solutions and specific engineering packages, depending on the nature of the development, a role of Principal Contractor or Sub Contractor is fulfilled. This is a good chance to join a progressive company.

Due to the current busy workload our client will consider a freelance candidate who may choose to go permanent later. An attractive salary and package is available for an Engineer who wishes to develop their career after proving their value to the company. All applicants must be legally entitled to live and work in the UK.

£35,000 basic plus company van, 23 days holiday and bonus, typically 10 to 15 % of salary
