The drawings will all be issued in electronic format and you should have had previous experience in establishing primary and secondary controls and reporting on and verifying all aspects of the setting out.

This is a “cut and carve” project with structural modifications being carried out to the building so that you will need to able to provide locations for structural plates and halfens. The bulk of the work will be complicated and intricate, with all the architectural details being set out to co-ordinates on both the structural RC orientated sub- and super- structural elements and the finishes.

You will have had a minimum of 3 years setting out in field conditions on large projects, preferably for a contractor, be able to read and understand architectural, construction and services drawings, have good AutoCAD skills and a CSCS certificate.

Clear communication skills, with the ability to pass on information to the labour force, a confident approach in dealing with the main contractor resolving drawing and information queries, a good work ethic that will lead to solving problems with your colleagues are all attributes of the Engineer / Surveyor we seek.
