Job Description
My client is is seeking a Matron/Manager for a 30+ nursing home for the elderly in Somerset. To apply you must be a first level RGN with proven mangement skills in nursing. An RMA or and NVQ level 4 would be preffered but not essential. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take the RMA if required. The role involes the general running of the home from care-planning to budgeting and improtantly my client would like the person to be highly organised and efficient and be able to provide certain leadership qualities to the home. Obviously the candidate will have to be familiar and up-to-date with CSCI regulations and other care standards. The post involoves 38 hours per week and the management of around 50 staff, nursing and domestic. The salary is in the range of 28k to 32k and has a bonus incentive on top, which will make the successful candidate feel very well looked after.
