Job Description
This Senior Structural Engineering position with require suitable candidates to take on the role of project engineer in the team.
This will include liaising and coordinating with external parties such as clients, architects and other consultants and delivering the project within the agreed budget and programme. You will be required to supervise a team of engineers and CAD technicians and offer mentoring and support to graduate engineers.
A strong technical knowledge of projects from concepts through to detail design, including aspects such as procurement, buildability, construction techniques and risk assessments. Structural Engineers will be required to posses a sound understanding of regulations including:
- Building Regulations
- CDM
- HASAW
This will be underpinned by substantial experience working as a Structural Engineer in the design of building structures.
Engineers shall be degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering, preferably a 2:1 or higher. You will be an excellent communicator and a Chartered Engineer with the IStructE, ICE or other similar Professional Institution.
