The Role. Preferably with an Engineering Degree or tertiary level qualification in a Construction related discipline you will have basic relevant site experience and may have had sandwich course exposure to site conditions. Coming through the engineering role you will be seeking to gain further site experience. The 2 positions are similar with the emphasis on one being geared towards the concrete side, measuring and cubing up, recording deliveries, dealing with the batching plant, sorting out the QA and results, whilst the other role is more engineering biased, setting out under the supervision of a more Senior Engineer. Ideally demonstrating a good level of written and oral communication you should be aware of the benefits of good record keeping.

The Project. This project is to be built using post tensioning in an un-bonded form. Multi – storey RC frames to 21 floors as a linked structure to lower level structures. This will all be in situ concrete with post tensioning methods used. The project runs for 18 to 20 months and you will be involved from the initial groundworks through the RC phases to the cladding, hard landscaping and handover.
