Job Description

We are looking for Consultant Radiologist to be the professional lead, and advise on professional issues for Radiology in Diagnostics. To ensure the Radiology team delivers to appropriate professional standards, without compromising the achievement of key performence indicators.

Requirements:
- Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists
- current and full registration with the General Medical Council (UK)
appropriate specialist registration
- experience as a Consultant
- A complete and current CPD record and GMC Revalidation Portfolio
- IT competent
- Able to travel to different work locations – full driving license required
- Management and leadership experience
- Sound understanding of the issues relating to the recruitment and retention of Radiologists
- Sound understanding of the role and implications of clinical governance
- Sound understanding of a number of imaging modalities
-Highly developed written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Evidence of effective team working
