Job Description
With minimum supervision investigate complaints in respects of breaches and alleged breaches of planning legislation and prepare reports as appropriate.
· Negotiate to secure acceptable outcomes where appropriate, so that further enforcement action is not required.
· Carry out as necessary authorised enforcement action that includes the issuing of statutory notices.
· Assist in the preparation of any prosecution as part of the enforcement process.
· With minimum supervision investigate compliance with planning and related permissions.
· Assist and participate in Council enforcement and other initiatives as directed by the Planning Enforcement Manager.
