Job Description

A large well known Global Asset Management Company is looking for a strong financial accountant to work within thier strong Real Estate Team on a contract until Christmas. The successful candidate will have the following experience:

• ACCA / CIMA part qualified, a finalist or recently qualified (or foreign equivalent)
• Minimum of 2 A Levels
• Minimum 2 years financial accounting experience
• Experience in real estate accounting is a plus
• Good communication skills both oral and written
• Good PC skills, knowledge of MRI System or other real estate accounting system is a plus
• Be keen to learn and have an organised approach to work
• Enthusiastic working approach within a team environment

The Main duties would be:

• Perform weekly cash-flow analysis
• Monitor property level and tenant level accounting data sourced from managing agents across a portfolio of commercial properties
• Perform pricing of Unit Trust and Partnership on a monthly basis
• Assist in recording and processing of income distributions to investors
• Assist in the production of statutory and financial accounts at interim and year-end
• Assist in the preparation of VAT returns
• Participate actively in ad hoc projects
• Develop and maintain close working relationship with the Fund Management teams.
