Job Description
The candidate will be required to report directly to the Contracts Manager & Construction Director, his attributes are to be professional and organised, able to exhibit financial control and understanding of all on site activities, able to enjoy working under pressure to strict deadlines. He is required to work with the design and planning teams and liaise with the client to achieve successful delivery of the project.
The successful candidate will clearly demonstrate a stable career path with at least 3+ years as a Quantity Surveyor with known UK sub-contractors on similar projects in excess of £5m+. With strong financial awareness & commercial management skills, he is required to hold a relevant construction or Quantity Surveying degree or tertiary qualification. A CSCS Card is a must. The contract is £5m + value over a period of 30 weeks. The candidate can be employed either on a contract basis, or on a permanent salary of around £40 - 45k + car allowance.
