Job Description
My client is a leading NHS hospital in beautiful surroundings in the SE with a vacancy for a Band 5 Trainee Mammographer. The Breast Screening Unit is growing and enthusiastic staff are needed to support this development. The successful applicant will have solid experience in radiography with a strong desire to specialise in mammography. The post graduate qualification in mammography will underpin this specialisation and be central to the training. Only females may apply, as the post is a "Genuine Occupational Qualification" and exempt from the Sex Discrimmination Act. The position is full-time and permanent and for immediate start. The salary banding is £17475 to £24,803. This is a wonderful opportunity to specialise in a much sought after profession.
