Job Description:

Opportunities exist for Building Surveyors in this fast moving, dynamic and highly innovative consultancy. The post holders will undertake a broad range of building surveying activities on an incredibly varied portfolio, ranging from Scheduled Ancient Monuments to High-Tech facilities with everything in between. They will have a high degree of client contact and responsibility for delivery of projects and commissions. Successful candidates will be motivated, commercially aware team players and team builders and are likely to be MRICS Chartered Surveyors.

The successful candidate will:

•Be able to write concise reports
•Be experienced in a wide range of professional building surveying activities
•Be experienced on a variety of property and project types
•Have a good understanding of contract procurement and contract administration
•Like working on high profile projects and commissions
•Like working for Blue Chip clients including Hilton Hotels, Royal Bank of Scotland, Tishman Speyer, Morgan Stanley, major central government departments etc
•Be keen to work in a motivated and growing team
•Want to manage teams and team based projects

Typically a senior building surveyor will have degree qualifications and MRICS PQE or an equivalent.

The successful candidate will work in a specialist team in the department and will have significant interest and experience in either conservation work and/or professional work such as dilapidations, pre acquisition surveys and advice, and will be keen to help lead growth of such services.
