Job Description:

Associate Director in Project Management required by an international multidisciplinary consultancy to be based in London.

This role would suit someone who wants to make a difference and further his/her career in the construction industry, or someone who has "won the tee-shirt" and wants to pass on the learning.

The purpose of the role is to develop and lead the delivery of business streams and ensure profitability and repeat business through a high quality service provision, in addition to project managing the companies engineering and environmental design services to contractors and other major projects.

With a first Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, and ideally chartered the successful candidate will have a minimum of 8 years experience.

Experience / skills required:
Experience of working in multi-company, multi-disciplinary development teams;
• Technically competent;
• Application of Management Information Systems and project management techniques to measure performance and derive action plans;
• Understands the interaction between the various engineering and environmental disciplines in a construction phase;
• Identification of risks and management thereof.
• You will need to have a successful track record of business development, be commercially and contractually aware;
• Be able to challenge established practices and enjoy working in a fast moving contractor led environment.
